IBUC 2026 22nd International Blaise Users Conference

You can now register to the 22nd IBUC in Norway!

We are excited to invite you to the 22nd International Blaise Users Conference (IBUC), which will be held in beautiful Trondheim,Norway from September 21 to September 25, 2026. This conference is a great opportunity to join Blaise experts, survey specialists, and fellow professionals from around the world for an enriching experience.

We have extended the Early Bird prices until June 30th, so register quickly to take advantage of these special rates.

We are currently finalising the programme for Monday’s pre-conference training and will share it with you shortly.

Abstracts submission

We invite Blaise users to submit abstracts and share their experiences with the community, think about experiences with Blaise 5 and modern survey data collection, including the integration of Blaise within organisational and cloud environments, with attention to scalability and system architecture.

We also welcome contributions on the transition from Blaise 4 to Blaise 5, including production environments, practical implementation experiences, and future developments.

In addition, we invite contributions on the use of AI and generative AI in questionnaire design, data collection, validation, and analysis, as well as innovations in data collection such as multimode and adaptive surveys, responsive design, and the integration of administrative and alternative data sources, including the use of paradata to monitor and improve processes.

Further topics include improving user experience through mobile-first design, respondent engagement, and inclusive and accessible survey practices, as well as data governance themes such as privacy, security, ethics, transparency, and trust in AI-enabled processes. Finally, we also welcome advanced analytics, including real-time reporting, dashboards, NLP for open-ended responses, and transforming data into actionable insights, as well as the use of Blaise multimode capabilities and other relevant topics within the Blaise community.

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and must be submitted by July, 19, 2026. Participants will present for 15 to 25 minutes and submit a paper of 6-10 pages.
